A Holistic Approach to Learning Through Play
Our ORDA program looks beyond academic skills.
ORDA is a structured, game-based learning program that uses educational board games to develop children's logical & strategic thinking, early numeracy, problem-solving, attention & concentration, independent thinking, flexible thinking, communication, social and emotional skills. Historical Orda board games clearly targeted specific cognitive skills. Orda program is a whole-brain training program, which provides more than 40 educational board games to develop children's skills in a holistic approach. Two different educational board games are used in each lesson as teaching aids with specific learning goals. Our teachers conduct detailed observations and regular progress checks to understand each child’s strengths, interests, learning needs and areas for further development. Parents receive feedback each week about their child’s participation, progress and learning, as well as suggestions for areas that can be further supported.

ORDA board games were developed in cooperation with institutions including Tel Aviv University, Bar-Ilan University, Yissum of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and Yeda of the Weizmann Institute of Science.

What makes an ORDA program different from simply playing board games at home? THE EDUCATOR'S ROLE!
The educator use selected games with lesson plans to support students to achieve their specific learning goals in each lesson, questions and guided discussion to encourage children to think about how they reached an answer, why a strategy worked, what they could try differently and how skills learned through the game can transfer to other situations.
